Long Shoal Park is located on Harry S. Truman Lake. The area is forested with rocky hills and rock bluffs extending into the lake. Long Shoal Marina is located within the park. The area is an excellent fishing location. Popular activities include camping, fishing, hunting, swimming, and boating. The park also has a day-use group shelter that may be reserved. Animals that live in and around Long Shoal include whitetail deer, turkeys, raccoons, skunks, squirrels, turkey vultures, hummingbirds, hawks, and ospreys. Bald eagles can be seen during the winter months.

This campground requires a 2 day minimum stay on weekends.
This campground requires a 3 day minimum stay on holiday weekends.
Campsites may be reserved April 15-Oct. 15; site fees are $10-$16 per night.
Waterborne facilities are open only during the peak season.
Camping is not permitted in Long Shoal during the Festival of Lights Celebration, which occurs mid-November through early January each year.
