Minerva Lake is a 45-acre lake located approximately 25 miles northwest of Manistique. Resting a quarter mile east of CR 437, the entrance road is short, steep, and narrow, but still capable of handling mid-sized vehicles. It is not suitable for RVs or trailers. There is only one small campsite located in a semi-open area bordered by hardwood trees and hemlocks. It is 40' X 30' and is good for one family with tents. Swimming at Minerva Lake is considered poor, however, fishing is considered good. Lakes species are predominately largemouth bass and yellow perch. There is an unimproved, sand base boat access located adjacent to the campsite.
